The Indian e-Tourist visa is available for the citizens of 160+ countries, but they can only obtain it if their reasons for traveling are mentioned below:

What is the Validity of the Indian e-Visa?

These types of visas are valid for 30 days starting from the date of your arrival in India. This e-visa allows two entries in India.
These types of visas are valid for 1 year starting from the date the visa is granted. This e-visa allows multiple entries in India.
These types of visas are valid for 5 years starting from the date the visa is granted. This e-visa allows multiple entries in India.
Key Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The e-visa is available to citizens of over 160 countries. However, individuals or their parents or grandparents who were born in or were permanent residents of Pakistan are not eligible to apply for an Indian e-Visa.

Passport Validity: Applicants must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in India. Additionally, the passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by immigration authorities.
